Can you point me to a link that takes me directly to the firmware update so I can turn my unit on and have it automatically updated. So I connected my UE Megaboom to my computer in the hope that it would speed the download and update of the firmware on the device. Go to the blog area and all the blog site wants to discuss is the picture of the month. Within the Logitech site you go to update and there is NOTHING related to updates. There is no mention of getting the firmware update on the UE Megaboom FAQ area. Tried different outlets, searched the web and ended up here. Using fine but now battery will not charge, red light is blinking and voice tells me critical battery please charge.
My issue is the same as others have posted. How can Logitech consider it acceptable to leave users in such as state?

So I, as well, no doubt, as countless others, have spent a long time searching on the web for answers to how to install a firmware update without success. You have a How To listing that does not include installing firmware updates? How could your engineers consider putting out a product or in this case an application with such an oversight? Third, you don't provide a link to the update which I assume is what I have downloaded from the Apple application store. Very disconcerting to a user like myself. So I don't even know if I have the right application installed, and whatever BLTE is, I never turned BLTE on, having never downloaded the application before. You don't explain the steps and I cannot locate such a setting anywhere. Second, you say simply go into settings and turn it off. What is it? I cannot locate it anywhere in the UE Megaboom I downloaded from the app store onto my iPhone. Sorry but your technical support reply post is one of the most useless I have ever encountered in over thirty years of following customer service and, as in this case a new user of UE Megaboom. A small bug? Simply distressing that you would call the inability of the unit to charge, at risk of going to zero battery and not being able to install an update and, from my reading, having your UE Megaboom turn into a door stop, is simply not a "small" bug.įirst you do not explain what BLTE is.
